Juliana Hatfield
Juliana Hatfield is a recording artist whose 22nd album is November 2023’s “Juliana Hatfield
Sings ELO”. She is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and has a post-baccalaureate
certificate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston).
Her drawings are, in her words, “representations of the time I gave them; the time they need to
take shape.” The small figures are done fast and the abstracts-- made of thousands of tiny
circles-- are labor-intensive. “I don’t know exactly what any of them will look like until they
form themselves in the drawing process.”
